JOB DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the assistant position is to provide daily
technical users support in the entire spectrum of ICT
operations at the NRC Sudan – Kosti Country office, under
the supervision of the ICT Coordinator, ensures the
delivery of the services on information systems and
telecommunications to all staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job description:
Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines.
Prepare and develop status reports as required by management.
Ensure proper filing of documents.
Provide help desk support to all users on IT issues.
Maintain the existing Asset Registry to track all ICT & Non-ICT equipment’s.
Preparation and release of ICT resources to authorized users as approved.
Diagnosis and resolution of hardware, software or connectivity problems.
Provide support to the office staff upon request in the use of systems and applications.
Schedule regular computer-related service & maintenance.
Setup internet connectivity for all staff as well as visitors.
Performs other duties, as required or as requested by line manager.
Qualifications:
Bachelor in Information Technology or related field.
Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
Education field:
Information Technology or related field.Education level:College / University, Bachelor's degree.
Personal qualities:
Demonstrate proficiency in providing user support forall typical office ICT speciallyLAN/WAN/VSAT/Wireless technologies, CiscoSwitches & Routers.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to keep up to date with modern trends intechnology and match this with internal specifics.
Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, support andimplement technical solutions at all levels.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Language:Arabic.English.

Previous experience from working in networking andsoftware and hardware maintenance.
